Where do Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP) Work?

Some RCPs are employed in physician offices, medical supply companies, home care companies, pharmaceutical companies, and research; however, the vast majority of Respiratory Care Practitioners work in hospitals.

Hospital areas which RCPs work include the general ward, Adult ICU, Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU, Emergency Department, Transport, Pulmonary Function Lab, Rehabilitation, Sleep Lab, and other areas.
